Washington Wildfire Season continues its streak across the state this August. Some of the most aggressive wildfires in Washington state in August 2022 have included:
- The Vantage Highway Fire, which started on August 1, has burned more than 30,000 acres.
- The Cow Canyon Fire, which burned 4,600 acres by August 6.
- The Williams Lake Fire near Cheney, which started on August 9 and burned 1,600 acres.
